International Project: Cameroon

March 24th, 2009. Filed under: News.

We have the opportunity to help Anna Stormzand (from Cheboygan) as she works in Cameroon with the Peace Corps.  She is currently serving in the town of Banyo.   Our plan is to put together some items and then ship them to Anna.  Here are some of the things that would be most helpful:  for kids – soccer balls, pumps, soccer jerseys and sports tees, and soccer shoes for kids 8-13.  On the health side, the Catholic Mission in Banyo could use: bandages, gauze, sterile gloves, ibuprofen, motrin, anti-biotic cream or ointment, aspirin, cough meds, cough lozenges, eye drops, eye patches, a blood pressure cuff, a stethoscope or any other first aid supplies.

We will be collecting the supplies at club meetings.
